This is where our research and development experience really pays off. Often it's not until a product prototype has been built that the final adjustments can be made that are essential to its commercial viability.

There really is no limit to what Maxon Industries can do when developing a new product, all we ask is that it has a proven route to market before we start work.

We have our own Research and Development facility where we can manufacture most prototypes in house. This gives us a real advantage when it comes to turning a project around in a limited period of time. Occasionally we need a higher level of expertise and this is where Maxon Industries will fund the development at one of our carefully selected and audited research and development facilities.

So, what's the catch?

Simple the catch is, that because we deliver what we say we will, we have to be careful about which projects we work on. We have worked with many inspired individuals, with inventors ranging from students to seasoned professionals, helping each one of them to grow their dreams and their businesses.

We will only take on a project where there is a viable proven route to market.

Research and development can be a very expensive part of product development, and we at Maxon Industries understand that. That is why we do everything we can to help you the inventor to realise your dreams without incurring any costs for our services.

Advice that's right on target!

A British inventor approached us with this very unique device that controls the airflow on a paint ball gun. By controlling the airflow the air canister would last longer, more velocity and accuracy also resulted.

Tolerances and performance were the critical issues. We first had to source a factory that could meet the stringent tolerance control and source rubber seals that would be resistant to wear, friction heat and oils.

After considerable work altering the design to reduce machining time we produced a 3d drawing which was converted to a DXF file to be used on a CNC machine. We then developed and produced suitable packaging for mail order. Our costs were recouped from ongoing supply of the finished part.
